Front-End Engineer

  • Data Analysis

  • Using React, Redux, and Redux Sagas, I co-architected, built and maintained our only authenticated consumer credit application (app.creditcards.com/profile) with data supplied from the TransUnion API.  The application shows consumer credit score, credit history, credit trends (using D3.js), and the ability to apply for targeted offers.

  • Worked with DevOps to integrate continuous integration, using Travis CI, to deploy the dockerized consumer credit application to AWS ECS and S3 for QA, Stage and Prod environments.

  • Co-architected and built our first React-based, in-house, UI component library which is currently being utilized on our React applications.

  • Led the redesign efforts for the consumer credit application, and incorporated the aforementioned UI component library.

  • Maintained the Node/Express reverse proxy.

  • Maintained the 1,000+ pages that make up CreditCards.com.

  • Migrated the site from legacy PHP to nunjucks templates, and introduced dynamic rendering, for later ingestion into the CMS.

  • Worked directly with designers on new content thru design studios and met regularly with the team to discuss product requirement changes and updates.

  • Picked up new frameworks and worked efficiently in an Agile environment.
